Project Grades

  • Discussion post and replies are worth up to 2 points each.  Maximum of 8 total points.
  • Each contact sheet submitted is worth up to 5 points.  Maximum of 20 total points.
  • The final portfolio is your website and is worth up to 10 points.
  • Total final project points available, 38.

Timeline and Requirements

Week 1:  April 6 - 12 (Module 11)

  • Write a 2 - 3 paragraph project proposal that outlines what your project is about, why you have chosen it, and how you plan to execute it.  Post in the discussion forum by Monday April 12, 11:59 pm.  Details in the discussion post section of Module 11. (2 points)
  • Make at least 20 photographs of the subject/theme of your project.  Submit contact sheet by Monday April 12, 11:59 pm.  Details in the assignment section of Module 11. (5 points)
  • Begin researching website options.

Week 2:  April 13 - 19 (Module 12)

  • Write 1 - 2 paragraphs about the website platform you have chosen.  Post in the discussion forum by Monday April 19 11:59 pm.  Details in the discussion post section of Module 12. (1 points)
  • Post 2 - 3 of your photographs from the first week of the project in the discussion forum.  Details in the discussion post section of Module 12. (1 points)
  • Make at least 20 photographs of the subject/theme of your project.  Submit contact sheet by Monday April 19, 11:59 pm.  Details in the assignment section of Module 12. (5 points)

Week 3:  April 20 - 26 (Module 13)

  • Post 2 - 3 of your photographs from the week in the discussion forum.  Details in the discussion post section of Module 13. (2 points)
  • Make at least 20 photographs of the subject/theme of your project.  Submit contact sheet by Monday April 26, 11:59 pm.  Details in the assignment section of Module 13. (5 points)

Week 4:  April 27 - May 3 (Module 14) Final Week

  • Write 2 - 3 paragraph summary of your project and post in the discussion forum.  Details in the discussion post section of Module 14. (2 points)
  • Post the link to your website in the discussion forum.  Website is worth up to 10 points.
  • Make at least 20 photographs of the subject/theme of your project.  Submit contact sheet by Monday May 3, 11:59 pm.  Details in the assignment section of Module 14. (5 points)
