Some of the things students have said about this course:

    • This class is one that connects the student to the real world, not just school, and I strongly feel that is important to the growth of the student as a person. It lets the student see how their education is directly associated with the world around them. I think many classes lack that connection.

    •

I feel like this is a little less about learning and more about learning how to learn.

Very interesting course. Gives you an idea what is waiting for you in the college, what kind of work to do, how to use all sources from CCV and the most important is interesting reading, writing and discussions))) The Head is always busy!

    •

This course is fun and can have exciting discussions. I would highly recommend this course.

    •

This class has overall been one of the most interesting I have ever taken. Touching on topics such as philosophy, sociology, and human communications, the course has given us a basis for future classes.

    •

I did not want to take this class, as I didn’t see how it related to my major or interests. I thought it would be a waste of my time and money. Turns out I was really wrong – this class made me enjoy school for the first time and showed me that education can mean much more than just cramming my head with facts. I totally see now why it is required.

This class showed me I really can succeed in college. Before I doubted myself too much.
