Week 14: Compassion, Self Compassion, Connection and Empathy.

Topics for Discussion and Activities for the week

Read: NVC, Chapters 8 (The Power of Empathy), 9 (Connecting Compassionately with Others) and 13 "3rd edition" (Liberating Ourselves and Counseling Others) however if have the 2nd ed it is Chapter 12.

Again...Please review my Lecture before you begin any of the activities for this week.

Also note, due to the fact that I am not assigning any written work other than your Discussion Forum and your Journal (Practice Commitment) this week, I have asked you to provide some specific information and substance to this weeks journal entry, ie; particular questions for you to address, in addition to the "practice" component of this activity. I am also hoping to see depth and substance to your Discussion forum as well...original post Saturday, and as usual, please respond with depth and curiosity to AT LEAST three of your classmates. Please refer to my instruction on both activities for more detail.

Finally, you will see that I am asking that you submit your Final Exam to me this week. Hopefully you have been working on it for a couple of weeks, therefore the work load is feeling manageable as we begin to wind down the final weeks!
