Strengths, weakness, opportunities and threats

This week, we will explore what goes into a strategic plan. Specifically, we will evaluate mission statements and learn how to conduct a situation analysis. By the end of this module, you will also be able to complete a SWOT analysis, identifying a business’s strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats.

Objectives

By the end of this module, you will:

Identify the elements of effective mission statements.
Conduct a situation analysis.
Draft components of the marketing plan: mission statement and SWOT analysis.
